There are Port Jefferson Village owned municipal parking lots throughout the downtown business community. All lots are metered accepting credit cards, dollar bills and tokens, cost is $.50 an hour.
You can also use MobileNOW!, which you can download the app on your smartphone and register. There is also a QR code you can scan at all of the pay stations throughout the village.
All street parking is not recommended, only ½ hour on the streets.
You can also park at the Long Island Railroad lot and take a taxi down into the Village. Lindy’s taxi is $5.00 for one person and each additional rider is $2.00. You would need to tell them you are attending the Dragon Boat Festival.
If you are a Town of Brookhaven resident the LARGE lot on the water is available to you for free provided you have a sticker. Non-residents the cost is $20 for the day.
The ‘CVS’ parking lot at the far south end of the Village is for free.
